Common Law Brewing Co. is the brainchild of Brad Eldridge-Smith and Mark Valencia which was brewed up during one of their many homebrewing sessions. It didn't take long to realize that the idea was exactly what Spring Hill needed.
With every batch we brew, we will be giving our fans an opportunity to receive free samples.
All you have to do is join our mailing list. We will randomly draw names with each batch for the right to pick up two cans in Spring Hill, TN.
Just because we aren't open yet, doesn't mean there aren't ways to taste our beer. Keep an eye on our social media accounts for updates on festivals, competitions, and events that will feature Common Law beers.
We are currently serving beer at festivals and competitions around Tennessee and getting sample cans out to the members of our mailing list. We will also be adding some collaborations with existing breweries soon to make our beer more publicly available prior to open. This list below represents some of our more recent and upcoming cans.
Golden Ale - A new world take on an English classic. Hopped with Citra and Nelson Sauvin to bring out huge citrus notes.
American Amber - This malty American amber ale is the perfect pint on a hot Tennessee day.
BA Stout - Our imperial milk stout aged 8 months in H. Clark Distillery Black & Tan whiskey barrels. Rich hints of chocolate and coffee are complimented by the warm whiskey aromas.
Session Pale Ale- Sometimes you need something just a bit lighter. This iteration of our session pale is generously hopped with Comet hash.
Fruited Berliner - Our base kettle sour with lactose conditioned with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, vanilla, cinnamon, and graham cracker.
Fruited Berliner - Our base kettle sour with lactose conditioned with peaches, cape gooseberries, vanilla, and graham cracker.
BA Stout - We've taken our Rule Against Perpetuities and taken it to a new level with blackberries and wildflower honey.
Cream Ale - Nothing says Tennessee summer and mowing the lawn in the endless heat quite like a cream ale. Our version features stone-ground grits from a local farm.
Schwarzbier - This beer originally premiered at Oktoberfest 2020 in Columbia, TN. We've brought it back around for the summer of lagers.
Milkshake IPA - We've taken our NEIPA base and pumped it full of fruit, vanilla, and a hint of lactose. This iteration features strawberries alongside Barbe Rouge, Citra, and HBC 630 hops.
Porter - Our American Porter presents a malty character and a light hoppiness.
Fruited Gose - This beer will have you dreaming of an island getaway. This traditional gose is made anything but with the addition of toasted coconut, raw coconut, lime zest, and sweet curry.
Belgian Dark Strong - Originally born on a stormy day in middle TN, this dark features notes of sweet malt, banana esters, and an ABV befitting its Trappist origins.
Brut IPA - This IPA was co-fermented with juice from wine grapes. The result is a complex brew with a dry finish that features notes of fresh grapes backed up by a pleasant hop aroma.
